The Fiat 500 always gets a bad report…. Yet I bought one new in 2012…a red Lounge model…now at 88k miles and going strong I can honestly say I still enjoy driving it ….I still have people says nice things about it…it is more dependable than my newer vehicles …..or has been and still is one of the best cars I have ever owned !
Agreed. I have had two. Now a 2019 500x, another good car. If you go by the numbers, it may not be the top performer. But it is a cheerful and willing performer. Hold third gear on a curvy road- whoo-hoo!
30 years ago I bought a 1959 50,was a a lot. Wanted the 1936 Austin 7 Ruby for my wife.
Bought & sold Brit car for many years. The 500 got more play than any Healey 3000.
Had a 65 Mini Cooper 1275 S and many new MINIs.
Went to North Scotland a few years ago. Rented a new Fiat 500. It is no MINI, but had a lot of fun with it.
Kept the pedal to the metal the whole time. Could not break it loose in round a bouts.
It was fun, but way to small.
I have a 2015 500C Pop. 73k miles.
Never any problems, only scheduled routine maintenance.
The car is perfect for a ride in the city or nearby countryside with the top open.

I love the Fiat 500. I owned a 2013 US version and also love the old original version from Italy.

My wife has owned a 2011 5ooC for several years, and it is actually an amazingly good little car. Lots of fun, and quite reliable too.
