This one-of-a-kind 2021 Ford Bronco Big Bend is ready to conquer any adventure and Journal readers have a chance to win it in Fair Lane’s sweepstakes event to raise money for the restoration of Clara and Henry Ford’s old estate.
“As Henry Ford would have wanted, this vehicle is black-on-black and hosts a number of unique features personally designed by World Champion drifter, off-road champion, and Professional Fun-Haver, Vaugh Gittin Jr.,” the non-profit Fair Lane says on the sweepstake’s website.
The Bronco’s exterior is adorned with a matte-black applique of topographic maps and floor plans of the Fords’ house Fair Lane. Custom exterior RTR features and modifications include rock sliders, a tubular rear bumper, High Lift jack and Nitto Ridge Grappler tires.
Inside the 4×4 are brown and black leather seats with a custom design inspired by the Billiard Room at the Fair Lane estate, a hand-carved Copper dash plaque made from historic copper roofing sourced from the estate and a shifter with inlaid walnut wood also taken from the estate.
Power comes from a 300 horsepower 2.3-liter Ecoboost I-4 engine mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission.
The Fair Lane was home to the Fords for over 30 years and was one of the first historic sites designated by the National Historic Landmark. About 10 years ago, the independent non-profit organization Fair Lane was founded to help raise the funds needed to support the restoration of the estate.
