Event also previews upcoming Bloomington Gold gathering in Indianapolis

-

The annual Corvettes at Carlisle showcase staged this past weekend also served as something of a preview of the upcoming Bloomington Gold event.

A special Chip’s Choice indoor display in Building T of the Carlisle, Pennsylvania, Fairgrounds celebrated the 50th anniversary of the 1970 Corvette and was populated by cars that had won Benchmark awards at Bloomington Gold.

The 2020 Bloomington Gold gathering of Corvettes is scheduled for September 11-12 at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

Elsewhere at Corvettes at Carlisle, there was a display of new mid-engine C8 cars, show fields of ‘Vettes on display, a swap meet, autocross, an exhaust-tone competition, Corvette cruises and fund-raising for the Chip Miller Amyloidosis Foundation established in the name of the Carlisle Events co-founder.

Next up for Carlisle Events is the annual Fall Carlisle show scheduled for September 30-October 4.

  1. Great to see some shows held their events. Don’t know if there are social distancing measures in place but it’s sad to see from the pictures how many people don’t understand the importance of wearing a mask. We can enjoy the shows and still be responsible!
