This freshly restored 1969 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray would look great in any car enthusiast’s garage, and you have the chance to win this C3 in the PAL’s Heroes sweepstakes event.
Equipped with the original 427cid V8 engine that was removed and completely rebuilt to factory specifications during an extensive restoration, this Corvette puts out 390 horsepower. The engine is connected to a numbers-matching 4-speed manual transmission.
The body was stripped to bare fiberglass and underwent 100 hours of blocking and smoothing before being repainted in the original Monaco Orange paint.
“During reassembly everything was addressed to bring this Corvette up to the highest standards including new trim, new weatherstripping, and sandblasting then painting any reused components,” the non-profit PAL’s Heroes says on the sweepstake’s website.
The Saddle interior has remained mostly original except for new seat foam and covers.
PAL’s Heroes, a non-profit devoted to education, awareness and support of children and their families who have been faced with life-threatening illnesses, partners with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
