Rolls-Royce has announced its newest addition to the Connoisseur’s Collection – a bespoke cellarette configured to stow aperitifs or digestifs alongside cigars.
Before you get too excited and get out your checkbook, this chest will put you back £40,570 ($55,113).
“The Cellarette epitomizes true Rolls-Royce style: precision engineering, exquisite hand craftsmanship and a breathtaking presentation of luxury,” Rolls-Royce notes in its announcement.
The chest is built from an aluminum frame and wrapped with embossed Rolls-Royce Havana leather. It features an Obsidian Ayous Open Pore veneer serving tray complete with a Spirit of Ecstasy inlay.
Opening the chest, you’ll be presented with an array of accessories revealed in a mechanical fashion that mirrors the opening of the doors of a Rolls-Royce. These accessories include a collection of hand-blown lowball glasses and a leather-lined bottle pannier.
Also included inside is a humidor, that when opened, reveals a cigar tray made from Spanish Cedarwood.
Magnetically attached to the exterior of the cellarette are two small containers that hold a detailed S.T. Dupont cigar cutter, lighter and an ashtray.
“Although the cellarette will fit into the rear of any Rolls-Royce, it truly comes into its own as a centerpiece at an al fresco dining experience, or as an accompaniment at an intimate gathering,” the automaker ads.
