AutoHunter Spotlight: 2013 Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabriolet

-

Featured on AutoHunter, the online auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com, is this 2013 Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabriolet with 18,000 original miles.

Over the years I have owned a total of 29 different 911 models. In addition, from the time I was 15 until I was 21, I worked at a Porsche garage in Tucson, Arizona. So, I know a lot about the 911 as a car model and in my opinion, the 991 series cars like this one are the last truly amazing looking 911 car model. Sure people love the new 992 GT3 RS and pay a lot of money for them but to me my interest in the Porsche 911 as a model ends with the 991 era cars.

This specific 911 Carrera S cabriolet is described by the seller as a car having covered a total of only 18,648 from new.  This specific car is equipped with the Sport Chrono package, ParkAssist, navigation, a Bose audio system, heated and ventilated front seats, and the Premium Package Plus. The car was sold new by Porsche of Naples and has been Florida-owned its entire life. It is finished in the nice color combination of White paint with a Brown power soft top over an Espresso leather interior.

The car is powered by its original Porsche 3.8-liter flat-six mated to a PDK seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Before you moan that it should have a manual gearbox try the PDK first and find out what a great transmission it is. The PDK is in many ways better than a manual. There I said it. Bring on the hate mail.

The interior is fitted with 14-way power-adjustable, heated, and ventilated Espresso Natural Leather bucket seats up front and dual seats in the back, matched to the door panels, dash, center console, carpeting, and embroidered floor mats. Features include remote keyless entry, power windows, power door locks, Power Steering Plus, cruise control, a leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control, a Bose audio system, the Sport Chrono Package’s dashboard-mounted stopwatch, and the Porsche Communication Management (PCM) infotainment system with navigation. All these features make this car a great way to spend hours behind the wheel on a high speed cross country drive.

The auction for this 18,000 original mile 2013 Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabriolet ends Friday, January 12, 2024 at 12:30 p.m. (MST)
