Featured on AutoHunter, the online auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com, is this Coyote-powered 1965 Ford Mustang fastback. The 460-horsepower 5.0-liter V8 is paired to a TREMEC T-56 six-speed manual transmission, but those aren’t the only modifications: this pony car features a channeled body on a Scott’s Hotrods ‘n Customs chassis, Ridetech coilover suspension, 18-inch Boyd Coddington wheels, and more. Finished in white with gray and red trim over a red leather interior, this Mustang restomod is offered with a clear title.

The white body is accented with metallic gray and red striping, and features color-keyed bumpers and mirror caps. Features include an open-design hood with Ringbrothers hood pins, Kindig-It recessed door handles, side exhaust outlets, aluminum fuel filler cap, Ringbrothers chrome taillight bezels, rear spoiler, and “Tenacious” decals.

Boyd Coddington 18-inch five-spoke aluminum wheels with polished lips are wrapped in 225/40 (front) and 315/30 (rear) Michelin Pilot Sport tires.

The cockpit has hand-stitched Oxblood Red leather interior including the rear package shelf, door panels, dash, and center console. Features include Digital Guard Dawg keyless entry, push-button start, leather-wrapped Boyd Coddington steering wheel, Ringbrothers billet aluminum shift knob, aluminum pedals, Memphis Audio touchscreen system, under-dash accent lighting, and battery cut-off switch.

Instrumentation includes a 120-mph speedometer, 8,000-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for the fuel, oil, water, and battery.

The Coyote 5.0-liter V8 produces 460 horsepower, with power transferred to the rear wheels via a console-shifted TREMEC T-56 six-speed manual transmission and Moser nine-inch rear axle.

The body was channeled and rides on a chassis from Scott’s Hotrods ‘n Customs. Handling is assisted by a set of Ridetech coilovers. A hydroboost braking system with Wilwood discs, coupled with drilled and slotted rotors, provides stopping power.
