What’s the difference between Dodge and Plymouth? Dodge was supposed to be more upscale but, starting in the 1960s, that line was blurred, especially with the advent of the 1960 Dart, which seems to have cannibalized Plymouth sales. That was connected through the decade, with Dodge developing a delta-style trademark that was reflected in its “Fratzog” logo.

The ’62, ’67 and ’71 are all “B” body cars, using essentially the same “platform.’ The ’79 Magnum is an “R” body, which is a derivative of the “B” body.
They all have quad headloights.
My first thought was that they all have quad headlights.
I guess Don and I are on the same page.
Diego, my mind broke on this one. I can tell you that my best highschool bud bought a 383/727 auto 3.23 SureGrip GoMango ’70 SuperBee in 1976. Look at the hood. I have scars on my head from that lil filler between the bumpers. Working on it, you forgot. Ouch. If I could, I’d go back and make the designers work on all those cars with that hood “fang”. Still, one of Mopar’s best.
I have scars on my head from a 1970 4-4-2 due to a similar reason.
The first writer is correct. They are B bodies. The much maligned 1962 Dodges and Plymouth ( I personally love them) had a long life span in their B body understructures.
I know little about Dodge, so this took some homework. The Dart was the first B-body, like the Coronet. The Coronet offered the 426 hemi, also available in the Super Bee. The Super Bee and Magnum nameplates were both later resurrected on the modern Charger-platform models.
I appreciate the path you took to establish connections that sound legit, but no.
All based on Chrysler B Body platform.
