Interesting Finds: 1956 Ford F-100

A Jon Kaase Boss 520

-

The ClassicCars TV feature for today is a custom 1956 Ford F-100 pickup built by Undercover Restorations of Merritt Island, Florida. Built on a No Limit Engineering Big 10 chassis, this Blue Oval utility received over 2,000 person-hours on its build. This truck is finished in Solar Red over a tan interior, but the real party piece is the powertrain: a fuel-injected John Kaase Racing Boss 520ci V8 producing 770 horsepower and 730 lb-ft of torque, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and Ford nine-inch rear. Other features include bird’s eye maple bed, Wilwood disc brakes on all four corners, Billet Specialties wheels and Vintage Air climate control system. This custom truck sold for $154,000 at the 2023 Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach auction.
