So many great cars. The British roadsters are all fabulous! Any Corvette droptop. With that said, I will keep it on this side of the pond and will go with three. A 1957 Thunderbird, a sixties Lincoln Continental and a late eighties Camaro IROC-Z.

According to John Heinricy, one time Director of the GM Performance Division, “All Corvettes are red; the rest are just mistakes.”
I have to agree with him even though the first car my wife bought right after college was a used yellow ’63 drop top and we now have a red ’65 Fuelie. But a yellow big block ’67 with a black stinger hood would sure look nice in my driveway.
Lots to choose from, but previously owned 68 Pontiac LeMans, currently owed 50th Anniversary 2003 Corvette, however my favorite is a 67 Milano Maroon Corvette with white interior.
1970 Olds 442 two tone tan on brown with brown leather seats. Highschool sweetheart drove one Boy do I miss that girl, she was a beaut’. And, my old highschool girlfriend was bad either.
The best convertible is the one you own and use often – with the top down of course!
So in my case, that would be my 1999 Mazda MX5 Miata (purchaseed new). Now with 110K miles.
Definitely agree! I’ve had way too many convertibles to mention. I loved them all, but my favorites are the Miatas that I have had. They have been the most dependable, most fun, best all round car. 95, two 99’s, and a 2000. And that’s saying a lot cause I’ve had Oldsmobile, Chevrolet, ford, triumph, sunbeam, Porsche, oh, I guess I’ll throw in the Jeep as well since it was a convertible too.
Of course hands down the best looking convertible is the 1968 Datsun Roadster. I have pictures to prove it but not able to upload them here. I am a little biased because I own one of the few made (5800 produced in 1968)
My 1959 Bonneville was a real beauty, styling, size, interior in full leather, speckled floor rugs, it was sesational! Nicest looking convertible ever made hands down! I loved mine!
1970 Boss Mustang Convertible is my all time favorite, l had one and was foolish enough to sell it in a moment of weakness 🙁 Next was 1968 Acadian SS Convertible

My 1965 Continental Convertible. Have had it since 2007, and am nearly done with a complete restoration.
At my age, driving a 6,000 pound brick keeps me out of trouble, whereas I would most likely wrap one of my favorite earlier hot rods around a tree.
Any American large barge from the ’50s-early ’70s. I have a soft spot for Chevy Impalas, but anybody’s big’un will do.
1970 Olds 442 two tone tan on brown with brown leather seats. Highschool sweetheart drove one Boy do I miss that girl, she was a beaut’. And, my old highschool girlfriend was bad either.
Any One that works….lol… Seriously, 1972 Corvette yellow with black interior
One more my parent’s 1960 yellow Super 88 Olds. A very quick comfortable ride.
Mine was white, black top. And red interior. Gave it to Mom when I got drafted and sent to Vietnam. 66 Olds convertible when I got back.
I hate convertibles! But if I had to pick, it would be a Vette.
I own a 1956 Thunderbird convertible but the most stylish is the Jaguar XKE’s of the early 1960’s
Mine: 1989 Mustang LX 5.0 Convertible.
1964 GTO convertible
1958 Pontiac Bonneville

Oh! I forgot the 61 Austin Healey. Fun car except for the Lucas (prince of darkness) electronics
My 1967 Plymouth Belvedere GTX convertible – 1 of 680 I’ve been told. It gets a ton of compliments.
A 60 Chevy is great looking with the top down ..
The one and only Chevy I had was a 60 Impala convertible
1966 Pontiac Catalina 2+2 convert.
Of course hands down the best looking convertible is the 1968 Datsun Roadster. I have pictures to prove it but not able to upload them here. I am a little biased because I own one of the few made (5800 produced in 1968)
560 SL 1987-1989 – most beautiful car ever made
I surely miss my 2005 Mustang GT convertible, a red one.
But I’ve since picked up a 2003 Thunderbird.
My 1959 Bonneville was a real beauty, styling, size, interior in full leather, speckled floor rugs, it was sesational! Nicest looking convertible ever made hands down! I loved mine!

Sunbeam Tiger
I had one of those also. A 66 green
have owned about 7 Austin Healey roadster/convertibles in the past 48 years. loved them all.
There is only ONE THAT REALLY COUNTS.
THE 1969 Corvette Stingray
All others are paid shadows of the CORVETTES GREATNESS !
1958 Ford Fairlane Skyliner. It is so cool that the hardtop folds into the roof. There is nothing else like it. It helps that I own one.
!959 Lincoln Continental Convertible. Beautiful lines, looks great with the top up, top stores under electric boot.
1966 GTO Convertible.
