  1. I guess it would have to be a 63 Riviera, the most memories anyway, at 17 years old some buddies and I drove from so. Fla. to Twin Falls Idaho in a $600.00 Riviera to watch Evil Knievel jump the snake river canyon, those are some memories you can’t forget, although I’m sure most family and friends sure wish I would. 2. Can’t go wrong with a good ole 1969 Camaro Z/28. I had one for several years, it was intimidating driving it around town. So many eyes on you the whole time. Do I regret selling it? Yes…

  3. Having worked for a Buick Dealer for over 10 Years. I grew to love the engineering of the Buick models. But my favorite 2 models (having owned both are the 2 door hardtop regal and the 67 wildcat convertible. I wish I had both of them back.

  4. 1968 Chrysler Newport HO. This car had 335hp, would run with the best of them. Drove it seven years and like a nut, sold it during the gas crunch in 1974. U-joints front and rear, the only problem ever encountered.

  5. 1966 Olds 442. I picked up this car the day after I graduated from Clemson from Jim Moore Cadillac Olds dealership in Columbia S.C. This car was a beast as it topped out at145 MPH and would burn rubber going into 4th gear at 100 MPH. I still regret the day I sold it.

  6. 1965 Mustang convertible 289 automatic. At 17, it was my first car. I paid $300 for it in 1975. It needed paint and a new top. It was silver with a red interior. I had it painted a white snowflake pearl and put 5-spoke mag wheels, headers and side pipes, and raised the rear end using air shocks. Ran 70s in the front and 60s in the back. We cruised Colorado Boulevard in Denver. I had to sell it when I went to college in 77 and hated that decision ever since. It took 45 years but I finally purchased another one that I am restoring.

  7. My favorite car from the 1960’s would be the 1967 GTO … 400 cu in and awesome stock horse power … not to mention great looking also🤗

    • Good answer, Richard! I owned a 1967 GTO for 20 years, from the Fall of my Junior year of high school (1975) to the Fall of 1995. In addition to the powerful 400 cu. in. engine, it had a 400 Turbo Hydramatic transmission, operated by the infamous Hurst Dual Gate shifter. It also had a HUGE under-dash factory 8-track player and rear speaker. And yes, I kick myself every day for selling it.

  8. 1: 63-67 Corvette Coupe SB or BB best looking
2: 67-69 Camaro hardtop SB or BB good looking
    3: 1966 Plymouth belvedere 2dr hardtop Beast!!

  9. I am sure hands down the 63-67 Corvette coupes, and the 67 GTO HO.
I just bought (first new car) a 66 GTO 3X2 barrel carb, 4 spd but when the 67 GTO came out I was tempted to trade. But my wife was right because the dollars just didn’t make sense. Loved our 66, both our daughters (born in 67 and 70) grew up riding in that car.
Later owned a 67 Corvette, 427/435 coup and we enjoyed that ride equally as the GTO.

  10. 66 Chevrolet Malibu convertible, let the top down, tuck your surfboards under the front seat, tie them down, drive to Nags Head, NC

    66 Corvette Stingray

  11. I guess it would be the 69 Superbee as pictured, since I actually have one with a factory Street Hemi that I’ve owned for 35 years that I purchased from the second owner. It’s got less that 60k miles on it and is an unrestored survivor with the Super Trac-Pak axle package (4.10 Dana 9.75 inch Dana) and Hemi Torqueflite. Glad my wife let me get it and keep it all these years, thanks honey!

  12. 67 Mustang fastback 289 4 Spd. My parents had a Mustang six cylinder automatic in that appliance green color. When they loaned me the car, I imagined it was really the fastback, blue and white.

  13. 67 Pontiac GTO Convertible hands down one of the top ten best looking cars of the 60’s.

My first car was a 68 GTO convertible. But the 67 is a better looking car.

  14. ’67 – ’68 Eldorado. My favorite “Hot Wheel”. So much so I purchased a ’67 about 5 years ago. I have to follow this with a ’64 Mercury Comet. But I love all of the Mustangs, T-Birds, Rivieras, Camaros, GTOs, Vettes and the late ’60s Mopars! What an awesome decade for car designs and power!
