Porsche, the greatest car ever built
Since at 77 my life is likely to be short I go for a 1972 Porsche 911s. I had one once, the best car ever. Except it ate 2 trannies and various electrics. The car taught me the meaning of “trailing throttle oversteer” which I survived. I’d love another one.

Without a doubt, a Porsche 911 (could be one of many types). From its conception it was designed as a sports car that 2 could pack luggage, take on a trip anywhere, anytime. Car is virtually problem-free, and carries with it the greatest tradition of design continuity of any car ever made.
A TJ generation Jeep Wrangler with the 4.0L and 5 spd manual, dual tops.. Not fast, go anywhere (almost), perfect for summer, perfect for winter, lots of fun.
