Named for his grandfather, “Elwin” is the nom de plume of cartoonist David Corbett. His clever wit and satirical perspective bring simple characters to life. Ranging from silly to snarky, Elwin finds humor in the incongruity of life.
Elwin has been exhibited at the Carnegie and published in numerous magazines and newspapers, including The Bradford Journal and The Atlantic Lady. Social media outlets – including Facebook – provide immediate gratification for both artist and audience. Prolific, quick, and clever, Elwin creates over 1,000 cartoons per year.
