Up for auction on AutoHunter, the online auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com, is a 1965 Shelby Cobra Semi-Competition replica built in 2017.
The body is finished in Blue metallic, which is nicely complemented by dual white snakeskin-patterned stripes and a handful of race livery decals. The car features a hood scoop, side-exit exhaust pipes, bright headlight rings, and gold-anodized Quick Jack bumpers and roll bar behind the driver’s seat.
Inside the cockpit, you’ll find period-style dark gray vinyl bucket seats with RaceQuip harnesses and separated with a custom center console wearing the same exterior snakeskin pattern.
The dash frames a three-spoke wood-rimmed steering wheel.
Power comes from a 400-horsepower Ford 331cid stroker V8 mated to an automatic transmission with steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters. The engine boasts numerous performance enhancements, including aluminum heads, a four-barrel carburetor, wrapped headers and an aluminum radiator with an electric fan.
Odometer shows 5,580 miles, of which 1,000 where added by the seller.
This Cobra’s auction ends August 8 at 11:20 a.m. PDT.
