Mostly original roadster on the auction block

-

Today’s AutoHunter Spotlight is on a 1974 Triumph TR6 roadster upgraded with an Anza aftermarket exhaust system, wire wheels and re-plated chrome exterior trim.

Click the red buttons on the photo below for an in-depth look at this TR6:

The body was repainted in orange under prior ownership and is fitted with a black convertible top with a plastic rear window. Chrome features include wraparound bumpers, driver-side mirror and a trunk-mounted luggage rack.

Inside are dark brown vinyl bucket seats with matching door panels. The dash has a woodgrain fascia that houses a locking glove compartment and modern AM/FM/CD head unit.

Power comes from the TR6’s original 2.5-liter inline-6 paired with a 4-speed manual transmission.

The odometer shows just over 54,500 miles.

The auction for this TR6 ends April 29 at 12:20 p.m. PDT.

  1. I love this car. As a past owner of a 1967 Triumph 2000, with the GT-6 engine. The TR6 has always been on My bucket list .As I’m now retired and have no children to pass on My estate and savings, why not splurge on myself. This TR6 meets the grade , even if needs a bit of work. Photos are great butt II still have to see and drive it for myself.
