Electrify America offers free Earth Day EV charging

Program is offered at company’s 589 charging stations across the US

In celebration of Earth Day, Electrify America says it will offer free electric vehicle charging sessions from midnight (Eastern time) April 22 through 3 a.m. April 23. 

“Driving electric is an impactful action consumers can take to help reduce their carbon footprint, and Electrify America is excited to offer free charging sessions on Earth Day to celebrate that,” Giovanni Palazzo, Electrify America president and chief executive, is quoted in the company’s announcement.

“We are proud to help lead an electric vehicle revolution by enabling electric transportation for all Americans, on Earth Day and every day.”

Electrify America has 589 charging stations across the US with more than 2,500 DC fast-charging outlets. The location of those charging stations can be found on the company’s website.
