Big Caffeine and Octane gathering to showcase vintage Broncos

Our weekly roundup of car show news and notes

-

Live car shows have returned in many parts of the country, and what is billed as the nation’s largest monthly such gathering is scheduled for December 6 featuring “special and unique” vintage Ford Broncos as well as one of the new 2021 models.

It’s Caffeine and Octane, the Atlanta show that takes place in the parking lot at the Perimeter Mall in Dunwoody, Georgia, just north of Atlanta. The show also has its own television series and even its own clubhouse/restaurant/TV studio.

The December car show, which will feature trucks as well as Broncos, runs from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. The monthly gathering, which typically draws more than 2,000 vehicles, is among the segments presented on the Caffeine & Octane TV show, which is in its fifth season on the NBC Sports Network, where it is shown on Tuesday evenings.

Should neither the monthly car show date nor Tuesday evening television fit into your schedule, Caffeine & Octane has its own clubhouse, the Speed & Style Coffee/Garage.

However, motorsports historian Harold Osmer has shared his 10-minute video history of the event.
