French-built vehicle from 1920s was a ground-bound airplane without wings

All of those promises of flying cars may be unfulfilled, but there was an era in which people drove cars that were basically airplanes without wings.

Such cars were propelled by an aircraft-style propeller. The Lane Motor Museum in Nashville has a wonderful collection of such vehicles.

While wandering around YouTube, we found this short period video of a Helica in action on the streets of France.
