Who would have thought, nearly 70 years later, we would not be watching F1? Yet here we are, the 2020 season on hold.
Once upon a time, the Monza Autodrome, with its long straights, multiple-apex corners and high banking was the fastest road circuit on the planet. Since then, two significant chicanes were installed at the end of the front straight and at the end of Curva Grande, because the cars were just going too fast as monocoques and V8 engines were added to the mix.
