Mecum’s Gone Farmin’ adds September 17 auction

Mecum Auctions’ Gone Farmin’ division will offer a group of modern tractors and other farm implements September 17 when it stages the Van Merchant Farm Machinery sale on site in Pecatonica, Illinois.

Barely used John Deere tractor

The collection reportedly includes premium equipment with low hours of service, such as a 2012 John Deere S660 combine used for only 226 engine hours and 122 threshing hours on the 85-acre farm.

Other lots include a 2011 John Deere 606 corn head, a 2009 John Deere 620 hydra flex head, a 2011 John Deere 7200 R used only 248 hours, a 2009 John Deere 9430 used 251 hours, a Kinze 12-row 3600 planter and a 1994 John Deere 6500 self-propelled sprayer with a 60-foot bloom.
