Everyone has a dream car in mind, but apparently a lot of you fantasize about owning a Ford Mustang.
Car maintenance brand Gold Eagle surveyed about 2,000 people nationwide and the Mustang came out on top when people were asked about which car they really want to own.
The Mustang was followed by a Tesla Model S, a Jeep Wrangler, a Chevrolet Corvette and a Chevrolet Camaro.
While the Mustang was the overall victor, it seemed that people’s dream cars depended on their age and sex.
For example, millennials have their eyes on a Model S, while baby boomers tended to drool over Corvettes.
Men preferred the Model S and Corvette more than other cars. Respondents said they valued size, safety and fuel efficiency when it came to their dream machine.
Women, on the other hand, were looking for a convertible that was fully electric. It also must be fast. Overall, women said they wanted a Wrangler or Mustang.
Admittedly, those cars are not electric, but they certainly meet the convertible qualification.
Those who self-defined as car geeks said they would likely pick up a Mustang, while those who said cars aren’t really their thing would opt for the Tesla.
