See these cars? They have been picked from AutoHunter or ClassicCars.com, so you can buy them. But, for the purpose of this puzzle, focus on the connection they may share. There is a possibility all four plus the above black car are not connected to each other, but maybe there are pairings that help?
Write your answer in the comments section below. And, if you’re a masochist, try identifying each vehicle. If you’re stuck, you can click on each image to discover what they are.

They are all American cars that do not use the model name on the vehicles represented. In fact 3 out of the four are out of business.
Nope!
Three are Ambassadors. Two are Starliners. Only thing else….”one of these things is not like the others”. Four are cars and one…is …a … yes, it is an approximation of an automobile. I’d like four out of five. Just like the toothpaste. Four out of five dentists recommend ….
the top is the most ugly car ever
3 Ambassadors-Hindustan, Nash, & AMC and 2 Starliners-Studebaker & Ford.
They are all named Ambassadors or something connected to diplomacy.
First 3 cars all have the model name of Ambassador. The next two are a Studebaker and Ford Galaxie that are both hard tops.
Black car, Nash Rambler & AMC are all Ambassador’s. Nash & Rambler Became American Motors (AMC) The Studebaker & Ford are both Starliners Only the Ford Co is still in operation. Side Note, while AMC did not continue on, The Jeep continues on with Chrysler, Mercedes, Fiat, Stalantis or whoever’s turn it is to own the company.
Aside from tailfins, I’m stumped
They are all fastbacks.
Some of you got it.
Of the quartet, there are two sets of cars from different brands that used the same model name. The lead image, a Hindustan Ambassador, was a complement to the Nash and AMC.
