Bentley Americas and The SagerStrong Foundation, founded by the late NBA reporter Craig Sager and his wife Stacy, recently unveiled a collaborative project to benefit blood cancer research. As an homage to Craig Sager’s vibrant wardrobe the Bentley Mulliner team created a one-off Bentley Continental GT Speed convertible for a charity auction with bidding starting early next year.
Craig Sager was a longtime sports reporter known for his distinct and colorful wardrobe during NBA game coverage. Before his death in 2016 from leukemia, he was inducted into the Sports Broadcasting Hall of Fame and in 2017 he posthumously received the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Curt Gowdy Media Award.
One of Craig’s last major appearances was his speech at the 2016 ESPYs, to accept the Jimmy V Foundation’s ‘Perseverance Award.’ His unique style was on full display, and stemming from the unique fabric sported that evening, the Mulliner team was able to mimic the flower pattern to complement the Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible’s iconic shape.
“Craig had a deep-rooted passion for craftsmanship, it was reflected in the suits he had tailored and the cars he chose to drive,” said Stacy Sager. “If he were here today, he would be driving the family around, top down, smiling ear to ear in this perfect representation of his beautiful and powerful spirit.”
Desecration of a beautiful car. They should be ashamed.
The car’s paint job is a tribute to the late Craig Sager, and the proceeds from the sale of the Bentley will benefit blood cancer research. Why would Bentley or the SagerStrong Foundation be ashamed?

Perhaps the worst paint job ever put on a Bentley mptorcar….it dfoes nothing to please the eye. A car ruined beyongdimagination…
It’s only money….
