Happy Friday! We’re close to the weekend and the Question of the Day involves a former General Motors brand.
So dear readers, What is your favorite Oldsmobile?
Give us your take in the comments section. Like my high school history teacher always told me, “There are no wrong answers.”
My Take? 442
The 1966 Olds Ninety Eight. Sand body with black vinyl roof; four door.
1957 Oldsmobile 2 door hardtop!
1961/1962 Starfire convertible – Gorgeous cars!
Yep. Agreed.
stylin and profilin… w/a doubt
1966 Olds 442. Mine was a beast with a top end of 145 mph. It would also burn rubber going into 4th gear at 100 mph. Sure wish I still had it.
My second car 1965 Olds 442. Love that car.
My favorite Oldsmobile?
The 1964 F-85. Good looking car, well designed, engine well matched to the car drives and handles well. The supercharger addition was not a bad idea, just technology of the era was not as effective as it might have been.
Wish that I could find one, that I could afford today.
still have a 1966 442.
1957 Super 88 convertible. That was the 2nd car I owned. I liked the 2 door hardtop also
Early 50’s 88 2 door hardtop.
Oldsmobile 1957 two door
My 55 Oldsmobile Super Rocket 88!
My 55 Oldsmobile Super Rocket 88!
MY first Oldsmobile was a graduation present: Beautiful 1962 F-85 in dark Metallic Blue, a White convertible top, Blue interior with front buckets, aluminum V-8, and 4-0n-the-floor. It also had special wheels and hub-caps. Sadly, I didn’t end up with any photos. What I do have are mental images of blowing the doors off many Fords, Pontiacs, and other wanna-be “hot cars” out on old Rt 66 near Bloomington, Ill.
69-70 442 4spd, with a sprinkle of whatever bobby sellers has been smoking!!😎😎
2001 Aurora 4.0. Turned out to be be much faster than I had expected.
