This Kadett has a very unique history

Featured on AutoHunterthe online auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com, is a 1964 Opel Kadett A. As part of AutoHunter’s YouTube video series the Kadett’s owner shares the car’s unique history on AutoHunter Cinema.

“This Kadett A two-door from 1964 was repainted in its correct red as part of a three-year restoration process completed in 2021,” AutoHunter notes in the listing. “Any rusted areas were replaced with new metal and the entire body was sanded, primed, and refinished.”

The interior features re-upholstered black and white two-tone vinyl front bucket seats and a matching rear bench seat. It’s been upgraded with USB ports.

It’s powered by a rebuilt, water-cooled 1.0-liter inline-4 engine with a 6-volt electrical system. The engine has a rebuilt carburetor, propeller shaft hanger bearing, and generator. A floor-shifted 4-speed manual transmission sends power to the rear wheels.

This Opel Kadett A rides on 12-inch steel wheel featuring dog dish hubcaps, chrome trim rings, and radial tires. New brake pads, master cylinder, and rubber lines were installed.

The sale includes a clear Arizona title, documentation, receipts, shop manuals, tool, and first aid kits.
