AutoHunter Spotlight: 2018 Shelby F-150 Lariat SuperCrew 4×4

When better Ford trucks are built, Shelby will build them

-

Featured on AutoHunter, the online auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com, is this limited-production 2018 Shelby F-150 Lariat SuperCrew 4×4. Of course, Shelby American started with a Ford F-150, then massaged the Coyote V8 with a Whipple supercharger and some other magic to produce 755 horsepower. The 5.0-liter engine is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission with dual-range transfer case. The 29,000-mile pickup comes with a lifted suspension, eight-inch center touchscreen with SYNC 3 infotainment system, Fox internal-bypass shocks and much more. Finished in blue and white with a black leather interior, this limited-production Shelby F-150 comes with a clean CARFAX report and a clear title.

The Lightning Blue exterior is accented with white racing stripes. Features include color-matched front and rear bumpers, fog lamps, mesh grille inserts, vented front fenders, dual-intake Shelby Super Snake hood, twin-panel power moonroof, powder-coated side steps, carpeted cargo box and body-color hard tonneau cover, among other items.

Shelby-branded 20-inch black wheels with polished lips are wrapped in 35-inch BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires.

The cabin is fitted with black leather heated and ventilated power-adjustable front bucket seats up front and bench four three out back. Amenities include carbon fiber trim, embroidered Shelby insignias, adaptive cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, adjustable pedals, ambient lighting, Bang & Olufsen premium audio system, heated steering wheel, 360-degree camera system and more. An aluminum plaque from Shelby American identifies this pickup as CSM 18ST0481.

Instrumentation includes a 120-mph speedometer, 7,000-rpm tachometer and customizable auxiliary gauges that show the fuel level, coolant temperature and other vehicle vitals. The digital odometer reads 29,000 miles, which is in line with the miles logged on CARFAX.

The Whipple-supercharged 5.0-liter Coyote V8 includes an engine block heater, high-performance fuel injectors, billet throttle body, Shelby Performance tune and Borla dual exhaust system. Power is sent to all four wheels via a 10-speed SelectShift automatic transmission, dual-range transfer case and electronic locking rear axle.

The suspension has been upgraded with a four-inch BDS lift kit and uses 2.5-inch Fox internal-bypass shock absorbers. Stopping power comes from four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes with red calipers.

The auction for this 2018 Shelby F-150 Lariat SuperCrew 4×4 ends on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at 2:45 p.m. (PDT)
