1971 Chevrolet Nova

This restored Nova is finished in LeMans Blue over a black vinyl interior. It features a rebuilt  307ci Turbo-Fire V8 engine paired with a four-speed manual transmission.

1966 Mercury M-100 pickup

Under the hood is a 352ci big-block V8 engine upgraded with an Edelbrock aluminum intake and a rebuilt four-barrel carburetor. The engine is paired with a four-speed manual transmission. It has a repainted two-tone turquoise and white exterior over a two-tone black and white interior.

 2002 Ford Thunderbird

It’s powered by a  3.9-liter V8 engine mated to a five-speed automatic transmission. This  two-owner Thunderbird has less than 17,000 miles and a clean CARFAX report.

1989 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am GTA

This Pontiac is finished in metallic burgundy complemented by gold accent pinstriping and features pop-up headlights. Under the vented hood is a 305ci V8 engine that’s paired with a five-speed manual transmission.

2007 Ford Mustang GT

This Mustang is a 2006 SEMA show car built by All-American SuperCars and Vortech Engineering. It has less than 36,000 miles and is powered by a 4.6-liter V8 engine featuring a Vortech V-2 Si-Trim centrifugal supercharger and JBA Speed Shop short headers. The engine is mated to a five-speed manual transmission with a SPEC flywheel and clutch.

2018 Porsche 718 Cayman

I really, really want a Porsche coupe with a stick, and I know I won’t be able to afford this one. There are older ones that are closer to my wallet but, for now, I’m content to dream.

1951 Plymouth Cranbrook

A dumpy early-1950s Plymouth four-door is not high on the totem pole of cars to hot rod with a Chevy small-block, but it seems someone thought it would be a good idea.

Custom 1965 Ford Mustang 2+2

I don’t often find modifications with a modern eye attractive, especially with the large mag wheels that are popular today. But I find this car tasteful in how it has been customized. The wheels still aren’t my thing, but I could live with that.

1952 Hudson Wasp

I’ve always wanted to check out a “Step-Down” Hudson to see what they’re all about, but at car shows you can’t just hop in a car and sit. One of their strongest points was also Hudson’s downfall: its six-cylinder engines when the public was clamoring for V8s.

427-powered 1964 Ford F250

This truck reminds me of the 427-powered F100 pickup campaigned by Jack Whitby’s Friendly Ford from my hometown. It’s a great reminder that despite all the auction craziness, interesting cars are within reach for the average enthusiast.
