This week on AutoHunter, the online auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com, we have a collection of vehicles handpicked by our Journal writing team. Make sure you check out all of our listings ending January 23-27 here.

Monday, January 23

1972 MG MGB

This restored MGB is finished in green over a saddle vinyl interior. It’s powered by a 1,798cc inline-four engine with dual carburetors, and a four-speed manual sends power to the rear wheels. Click here to view this listing.

2001 NASCAR Cup Car

Finished in a Mobil 1 livery and driven in competition by Mike Wallace and Jeremy Mayfield. It is powered by an 800 hp V8 engine paired with a four-speed manual transmission.  Click here to view this listing.

1972 Mercury Cougar XR7 convertible

This Mercury Cougar is finished in burgundy and features a newly installed power-retractable top. It features a 351ci V8 engine paired with a column-shifted C6 three-speed automatic transmission. Click here to view this listing.

1999 Jaguar XK8 convertible

Powered by a 4.0-liter V8 AJ engine paired with a ZF five-speed automatic transmission. It’s a two-owner Jaguar with just 36,350 miles. Click here to view this listing.

1996 Ford F-350 XLT crew cab “dually”

This Ford F-350 features a 7.3-liter Power Stroke turbo-diesel V8 engine mated to a four-speed automatic transmission and a 4.10 limited-slip rear differential. It has a clean CARFAX report and 37,400 miles. Click here to view this listing.

1948 Chrysler Windsor Limousine

Not fond of the postwar Mopar facelifts (I much prefer the 1942s), but I’m somewhat fascinated by the eight-passenger behemoths that were produced in the Royal and Windsor series. Why not in the Saratoga and New Yorker with the straight-eight? Click here to view this listing.

1950 Volkswagen Beetle

There’s something to be said about an absolutely utilitarian vehicle that, in its utter simplicity, offers style over practicality. Perhaps VW designers determined it was cheaper to use two backlite components over one, but that decision has paid off in collectability. Click here to view this listing.

1965 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray

I’m a big fan of the C2 Corvette, but I’m not part of the cult. I’m sure someone is having a conniption due to the 1967 Stinger hood, but I’m a sucker for black and tan (both the color combo and the drink). The L76 engine is a nice feature — no low horsepower versions for me! Click here to view this listing.

1959 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint

I’m more familiar with the Sprint Speciale, but I’ve always dug the more conventional Giuliettas too, though I can’t rattle statistics about either. This one has a 1.6-liter OHC four with a five-speed upgrade, which sounds like fun. Speedo is in kilometers, so it’s had an afterlife in America. Click here to view this listing.

1963 Ford Thunderbird

As an enthusiast kid, I was really into Thunderbirds through 1971, with the “Bullet Birds” of 1961-63 ranking high. I am not sure if I ever preferred one year over the other, but the 1963 is the most distinctive due to the character line that’s most noticeable on the doors. Click here to view this listing.
