Pick of the Day: 1967 Chevrolet C10

A blue start to the new year

-

Sometimes a baby-blue vehicle can also be “just a baby” when it comes to overall accrued mileage.

The Pick of the Day is a low-mileage 1967 Chevrolet C10 pickup listed for sale on ClassicCars.com by a private seller in Liberty Hill, Texas. (Click the link to view the listing)

1967 Chevy C10 pickup in beautiful blue and white paint in perfect condition. Runs and drives beautifully. Low miles!” the listing states. The odometer reads just 31,995 miles, and the seller believes it to be original. Cosmetically, the truck looks like it supports that number, showing a straight and glossy body with contrasting white bumpers and full-length body side moldings. The inside of the bed is lined with wooden planks and stainless-steel hardware, while dual exhaust pipes exit out the rear.

This pickup comes from the first year of Chevrolet’s “Action Line” of pickups. The Action Line served as second generation of the C/K series and was offered between model years 1967 and 1972. Building on engineering from the prior generation, General Motors began adding features that made its pickups more comfortable, user-friendly, and versatile as personal-use vehicles.

Speaking of creature comforts, the cab in this C10 looks like a comfortable place to spend time, with a color-keyed vinyl bench seat, an AM/FM/cassette radio, and a climate-control system with air conditioning. The seller states notes that there are no seat belts currently installed, but the mounting points are there if the buyer wishes to add them.

Power for this pickup comes from a 283cid V8 that is fed by a two-barrel carburetor and mated to an automatic transmission. The seller states that various mechanical services were recently carried out including a change of the oil, the coolant, and the transmission fluid. The grease fittings were lubricated, and all four drum brakes received new shoes and springs. This truck is ready to get in and drive.

“Kept in garage, covered up to prevent damage,” the listing concludes. “Serious customers can make an appointment to see or drive the vehicle.”

The seller is asking $32,000 for this baby-blue, baby-mileage C10 pickup truck.
