“Showcasing the classic styling of sport utility vehicles from the 1970s combined with the impeccable craftsmanship we see from today’s builders, the Resto-Mod market is booming with the popularity of these incredible Broncos and Blazers,” said Craig Jackson, chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson. “I have both Resto-Mod and late-model Broncos, and the quality of these SUVs crossing the auction block in Scottsdale will make great additions for anyone looking to add one of these popular vehicles to their collection.”

Lot #1340 is a custom 1970 Ford Bronco 4×4 nicknamed “Maverick,” recently completed following more than 1,400 hours spend on fabrication, body and paintwork done collaboratively by Tre5 Customs, Ikandy Paintworks and Paradise Customs. Its power comes from it Gen 3 5.0-liter Coyote crate engine mated to a Ford 10-speed automatic transmission. Finished in what the consignor describes as an elevated Brittany Blue, it also features a gray painted stripe embedded into the paint to match the gray hardtop. Also completed by the same trio of shops is Lot #1340.1, another custom Ford Bronco 4×4 nicknamed “Goose.” Goose was displayed at the 2022 SEMA Show and, like Maverick, it was the recipient of a 1,400-hour build. Finished in an elevated Sea Foam Green, Goose features a white painted stripe to match its white hardtop as well.

It is powered by a GM crate 6.2-liter 500hp LS engine backed by a Hughes 4L80E transmission and rides on a set of 17-inch KMC beadlock wheels wrapped with BFGoodrich KM3 tires.
