Nissan to unveil six concept vehicles and all-new Z GT4 at SEMA

The 2022 SEMA Show runs from Nov. 1-4 in Las Vegas

-

Nissan will attempt to steal the show at SEMA 2022 when it unveils the all-new Z GT4 racing car and six concept vehicles. The concept vehicles run the gamut from electric vehicles, to off-road trucks, and performance cars. Nissan’s showcase at the upcoming 2022 SEMA Show in Las Vegas will also include two “parts walls” featuring off-road and NISMO accessory parts for owners to personalize their rides.

Two different eras of Nissan vehicles collide with the reveal of this 1987 Sunny Truck that has been converted to LEAF all-electric power by South Carolina-based Tommy Pike Customs (TPC).

A pair of EVs, produced in a partnership with Tommy Pike Customs of Greenville, S.C., are on display to embrace the future of electric vehicles for gearheads.

This 1987 Nissan Sunny truck, owned by TPC owner Tommy Pike, features the electric drive motor and 40-kWh lithium-ion battery pack from a Nissan LEAF.

The Nissan Sunny LEAF project is a powertrain swap between a Nissan Leaf and a classic Sunny pickup truck.

Designed to inspire EV owners to personalize their vehicles to fit their lifestyles, the Nissan Ariya Surfwagon concept reimagines the 2023 Ariya as a California-style surf “woodie” wagon.”

If you want an endless summer driven by an electric vehicle, check out this 2023 Ariya all-electric crossover with a lot of retro beach-style flavor.

The redesigned Frontier is the basis of two concept trucks that explore the wide range of possibilities for a Nissan pickup.

The NISMO Off Road Frontier V8 concept takes the midsize truck to a new level of performance with a V8 engine, wide-track suspension, wide-body kit, new NISMO Off Road accessories and prototype NISMO Off Road parts.

Forsberg Racing took the Frontier and made it capable for any rocky terrain with the NISMO Off-Road Frontier V8 concept. The concept truck features a V8 from the Nissan Titan, a wide-body conversion, and a lot of Nismo off-road parts.

Influencer Christina Roki will show a Frontier Street Truck project. This Frontier is an homage to the mini-truck trend of the 1990s and wears the appropriate lowered stance and prominent graphics.

Content creator and automotive influencer Christina Roki created a lowered, street truck-style project based on a 2022 Frontier King Cab SV. Roki takes the truck in a bold direction with a custom wide body kit from Performance Lab Detroit, along with a lowered suspension and other modifications, all recalling the look of the “mini truckin’” style of the past.

For Z fanatics Nissan is displaying a pair of its iconic sports car.

Three-time Formula Drift champion Chris Forsberg’s latest drift car, a 2023 Nissan Z modified to produce an incredible 1,300 horsepower, will appear at Nissan’s booth at the 2022 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show. The Forsberg Racing team equipped the Nissan Z with an extensively modified VR38DETT twin-turbocharged V6 engine – as found in the Nissan GT-R – and made significant chassis and bodywork modifications to prepare the car for Formula Drift.

If you’re a drifting fan, I suggest you check out Chris Forsberg’s 1,300-horsepower 2023 Formula Drift Z. Based on Forsberg’s experience in developing competitive drift cars the Formula Drift Z looks fast and powerful standing still.

At the 2022 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show, Nissan will reveal a 2023 Z that highlights a range of NISMO accessory parts that will soon be available for purchase.

For those wanting something a little more street legal, a NISMO accessorized Z will be on display. The very custom Z highlights a lot of options for those that wish to add more personal flavor to their ride.
