  1. I had 2 of them. A ’92 V6 and a ’97 V8
The ’92 was a fun car to drive, lots of power and in many ways a “sleeper!” The ’92 was a trouble free vehicle.
The same could not be said about the ’97 V8.
It had a myriad of issues, most of wish were minor and covered under warranty, but required frequent trips to the dealer. When it was running it handled better than the ’92.

  2. The v8 versions like the one pictured were total junk. Not enough power for a v8, unreliable, and too expensive to fix. The first gen Yamaha v6 was outstanding, especially with the manual transmission, which became harder to find in 93’s on up.

  3. I still have one I bought in 1989. It was my daily driver until 1997. I’ve had the usual Taurus rust fixed. The shifter has never been very good; it’s cable actuated. It’s a great driving car and fun to drive.

  4. I bought a 2013 sho 4 years ago. One of the most reliable cars I’ve ever owned. Until I hit a deer last week. Now she’s totaled 😭
