I found an Aston Martin DB5 convertible in a back yard .it took me 2 years to restore it i had it till 1985 I sold it to a doctor in Los Angeles so I could buy a house that one got away.
For some lame reason I sold my Silver Grey Jaguar 2011 XK. Just shoot me. I’m caving in and hunting for non black 2012 XKR.
I ordered and put a deposit down on a Saab 95 in 2006. I then changed my mind and bought a Mustang GT manual instead… that Saab was so nice, and 4 or so years later, Saab went away forever…
1964 Comet 404 that was sold as a parts car. At 23, I had no way to fix the extensive rust and restore it. 10 years later, I now have a 1964 Caliente convertible.
Saw a ’54 Desoto Firedome for sale online, and for some reason, I just had to have it. Asking $17K, and inspection checked out. My plan was to sell my current ’51 Dodge Coronet for $10K and drive this one for only $7K. Hiccup with arrangements with seller, plus I couldn’t find anywhere reasonably priced to store my Dodge while I kept this one in my garage, so purchase fell through. Upon later review of inspection report, I’m not sure the seller was truthfully representing the car he had for sale with this photo that he provided, so might have dodged a bullet, but this is my dream car these days — don’t ask me why: https://www.ecosia.org/images?q=photo%20of%201954%20desoto#id=6E402B885A1F346C371615337BC104A7AC9967E1
