Featured on AutoHunter, the online auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com, is this garage-kept 1970 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 restomod that has been in the hands of its current owner/seller for nine years. It is powered by a 4.3-liter Vortec V6 engine paired to a four-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case. Features include a snorkel intake kit, power steering and 4-wheel disc brakes, winch and suspension lift. This Land Cruiser is available now from a private seller and comes with a clear Florida title.

The exterior is finished in red and features a black heavy-duty front bumper with 10,000-pound winch, a grille guard with amber driving lights, black fender flares, windshield-mounted driving lights and cowl-mounted jack. Additional features include black tread plate running boards and tube steps, body-side tread plate guards, and rear-mounted spare and jerry can.

A set of black 10-spoke Incubus wheels (with front manual locking hubs, of course) is wrapped in 38.5 x 11.0-15LT Super Swamper TSL Bogger tires.

The front bucket seats and matching rear bench are upholstered in black vinyl and cloth. Interior features include a tread plate-patterned black rubber floor covering, front overhead console and overhead rear speaker panel, red roll bar and more.

A 160-kmh speedometer and gauges for the fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature and amperage are located ahead of the driver. An aftermarket gauge cluster for the oil pressure, coolant temperature and amperage is mounted to the right. The odometer currently reads 78K kilometers (48,467 miles) but the true number on the vehicle is unknown.

GM 4.3-liter Vortec V6

Power is provided by a GM 4.3-liter Vortec V6 engine that, according to the seller, is making 285 horsepower; it is paired to a four-speed manual transmission. Underhood features include power steering, snorkel air intake kit, treadplate fan shroud and red Vortec intake cover, among other items. All filters and fluids (including oil) were changed six months ago.

This Land Cruiser was factory-equipped with solid front and rear axles plus part-time four-wheel drive with manual-locking font hubs. The original front coils and rear leaf springs were replaced with heavy-duty six-inch lift springs and shocks. An added dual-exhaust system exits to the rear. The auction for this modified 1970 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 ends on September 15, 2022, at 11:20 a.m. (PDT).
