This 2020 Chevrolet Camaro COPO is a factory-built, turnkey race car inspired by the performance cars that were available through Chevrolet’s special Central Office Production Order channel in 1969. The 2020 COPO Camaro was available with two different engines: an LSX-based 427ci V8, or a supercharged 350ci V8 like this particular example.
It also has special pedigree as a show car, having been shipped around the U.S. as a promotional vehicle — it’s only been rolled on and off the trailer. Note the special drag racing features like the wheelie bar, drag parachute, drag slicks, cage and emergency shut-off. Since 2012, Chevrolet has paid homage to the original COPO Camaros most often associated with Don Yenko, and Dick Harrell and Fred Gibb Chevrolet.
