The ClassicCars.com Journal is at Monterey Car Week 2022 to cover the sights and sounds of this collector car extravaganza. I’m fortunate that I am here and get to check out the festivities up close, but if I am unable to attend a collector car auction I’ll do my best to watch it on TV or find it streaming online.

So dear readers, Do you watch collector car auctions on TV?

  1. I really enjoy watching them. Then I cry, because I’ve owned some similar vehicles which I sold for WAY less than what they sell for at the auction.

  2. Spent about 5 hours last night in front of my computer watching the initial Broad Arrow auction live on U-Tube. Normally DVR the TV auctions so I can fast forward past all the Mustangs and Camaros!

  3. I miss most of them, but when I do watch, I am sometimes surprised by which cars go for outrageous prices, and those that I could afford, if I had been bidding, of course!

  4. I do sometimes. I just don’t watch Barrett Jackson anymore. The people are annoying and they drive the market way too high. Now that Endeavour IMG has purchased a majority stake I have lost even further interest.
