Jeff’s Interesting Finds: LS7 powered 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Split Window (4K video)

The custom 'Vette sold for $161,700

Enjoy the start of your weekend while AutoHunter’s Jeff Sutton shares an interesting find from the recent Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas auction. This 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray has been upgraded with a fuel-injected 7.0-liter LS7 engine and newer C4 Corvette suspension components.

Although the 1963 split window cars are desirable today, this was not always the case. When the 1964 model year was released with the one-piece rear window some 1963 owners cut out the spine and replaced their back window with the updated glass. Chevrolet offered a kit to remove the rear window spine, but you’ll hear stories of owners trying to replace the spine on altered 1963 models.

Now if you have ever sat in one of these you know that the visibility isn’t that great, even without the spine.

Check out Jeff’s latest 4K video and many others at AutoHunter’s YouTube page.
