Featured on AutoHunter, the online auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com, is this restored 1962 Oldsmobile Starfire convertible.

This Starfire received a three-year restoration that was completed in 2021. The Garnet Red exterior is complemented by a power-operated retractable white top, quad headlights, and replated brightwork. It rides on steel 14-inch wheels with full covers and BFGoodrich Silvertown whitewall bias-ply tires.

“The interior is equipped with bucket front and bench rear seating upholstered with red leather and red pleated vinyl inserts, matched to the door panels, dash, and carpeting,” AutoHunter notes in the listing. “Equipment includes power windows, a power driver’s seat, a non-functional radio, a center console, and a carpeted trunk. According to the seller, all of the carpeting is original, but the cabin carpeting shows signs of aging.”

Under the hood is the reportedly original 394ci V8 that has less than 700 miles since being rebuilt. The engine is paired with the reportedly original, rebuilt Roto-Hydramatic 3-speed automatic transmission.

This Oldsmobile has power steering, and front disc brakes have been added along with a dual-circuit master brake cylinder.

The sale includes a clear Michigan title in the seller’s name, restoration receipts, an owner’s manual, and a convertible top manual.

This Starfire’s auction ends on July 26, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. (PDT).
