2002 Dodge Ram 1500.

It’s hump day and we’re talking trucks. I think we all have some form of brand loyalty with trucks, I’m a Chevy dude, and tend to make our purchases accordingly.

So dear readers, Do you like Dodge trucks?

Vote and give us your take in the comments section. Like my high school history teacher always told me, “There are no wrong answers.”

My Take? I prefer Chevy, but Dodge has made some pretty cool trucks.

  1. Dodge W300M and WM300 were the quintessential early Dodge civilian 4×4’s. They evolved out of the 4×4’s Dodge built for the military, first in WWII and later Korea. Dodge built military pickups, command cars, carryalls, and later M-37’s

  2. I’ve had 2 Club Cab Dakota R/T’s and now a Regular Cab SRT-10. Awesome trucks and little to no issues other then normal maintenance. Also have had several Rangers & F150’s including an ’03 Harley F150. Never owned nor do I care to own a GM truck. I think Dodge makes the best looking trucks now and have ever since Ford went to deformed truck door window frames let alone the horrendous rust issues. Dodge has its clear coat issues and rust issues so it’s a toss up regarding longevity but I prefer Dodge trucks for looks, ride and performance overall.

  3. I hated Dodge trucks during the old D-series and W-series days. My friend Harry had a D-100 Adventurer with a 318 in the early 80’s, bought new. Absolutely the slowest and worst driving truck I’d ever been in and not good looking either. The intro of the new Ram in ’94 along with the refreshed Magnum engines changed my opinions. I now put the Ford and RAM at the top with GM reasonably close behind and the Toyota and Nissan also-rans.
