I’m a wallflower by nature, hence majoring in print and not broadcasting journalism at Nevada, and this carries over to my cars. They tend to be silver, white, or oxidized gold from Chevy, and my current daily is blue. I guess I prefer the muted tones in a Crayola box. But it’s good to know that Kiss’ Paul Stanley have something in common, at least in reference to cars.
“I would rather draw attention from being understated than overstated; that’s just my preference,” Stanley said about his C8 Corvette that’s being offered at the upcoming Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas auction.
If you want to avoid subtlety, and roll in a bold car, you have numerous options out there. It might take a bit of hunting to find a ride that conveys your spirit in the paint job and presentation, but it’s out there.

This Cadillac immediately caught my attention whilst perusing ClassicCars.com on Friday morning. Mainly due to the steer horns mounted above the front grille that gave me flashbacks to Boss Hogg’s white Cadillac on The Dukes of Hazzard. While Boss Hogg’s Caddie was meant to convey some form of affluence, authority, and ostentatiousness, the Pick of the Day has more festive characteristics and essence.
“Destined for parade and show off use; custom pinstriping, flames and skull and bones trunk accent,” the listing states. “The iconic Cadillac full chrome front grill is topped with a set of 36″ steer horns for maximum visual impact.”
The seller describes the Caddie as “an unrestored daily driver, not a trailer queen or show car, an awesome head turning daily driver.” It would be an awesome daily driver, except for the poor gas mileage, and ultimately this is a fun car, but not for a wallflower.
1973 Cadillac Eldorado convertible 
“Inside the wraparound dash is crack free and in great condition, the original rear view mirror has been replaced with a dashtop backup camera, with chrome Cadillac logo, for easy parking and maximum visibility,” the listing states. “Seats feature custom, “Day of the Dead”, skull pattern cloth upholstry inserts over original worn red leather upholstry. Center armrest is also custom treated.”
The price tag is a $18,995 and this Cadillac isn’t for those that wish to remain anonymous.
