-

Featured on AutoHunter, the online auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com, is this Dark Burnt Orange Metallic 1970 Dodge Super Bee.

This Super Bee was repainted the correct color of Dark Burnt Orange Metallic (FK5) as verified by the trim tag. The exterior is complemented by a 440 6-pack power bulge hood with a black insert, a black Gator Grain vinyl roof, and a white Super Bee tail stripe.

It rides on 15-inch Cragar SS wheels with BFGoodrich Comp T/A radial tires at the front, and Mickey Thompson drag radials at the rear.

“The front bucket seats and matching rear seat, trim, and door panels are upholstered with orange vinyl,” the listing states. “Features include an orange steel dashboard with an orange top pad, a floor-mounted Cheetah automatic shifter, black carpeting, power steering, manual brakes, and manual windows. This was originally a console car, but the console has been removed and is not included. The seller notes that the headliner and carpeting need to be replaced.”

Under the hood is a non-numbers-matching 496ci stroker V8 engine with a 440 block built by “Barbara Ann” Spiro. The engine has an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake manifold, a Holley 850-cfm Double Pumper carburetor, a 570 UltraDyne camshaft with solid lifters, and 906 ported and polished heads.

The engine is paired with a 727 TorqueFlite automatic transmission built by FB Performance Transmissions that is blanketed and rated for 750 horsepower.

The sale includes a clear New York title, Galen’s Registry report, receipts, and a broadcast sheet.

This Dodge Super Bee’s auction ends on July 1, 2022, at 12:15 p.m. (PDT).
