The Saturn was marketed as a “different kind of car company” and the General Motors subsidiary met that mission statement. The first Saturn was produced in 1990 but its run was short lived due to slumping sales numbers and was long gone by 2010.
So dear readers, will Saturns become collector cars in the future?

My Take? Yeah, I mean don’t people collect AMC Gremlins and Pacers? I have a framed autographed Frank DiPino jersey, and that’s why I figure everything can become a collector’s item.

Saturn is a junk like Ford Tempo.
We’ve owned two Saturn SC’s…. a 94 SC1 and a 96 SC 1, both were great cars. Currently we own a 2008 Saturn Sky with 17,500 miles on it and take it to car shows. It’s amazing how well received it is among many more expensive cars.
I’ve owned a 2008 Saturn Sky since 2009. It’s an automatic with leather, etc. It has 52,000 miles on it and is a pleasure to drive. The attention I get with this car is incredible. “Wow!!! What is it? American made? Who made it? Why haven’t I seen one of these before?”. It’s silver pearl with red interior. 😍
I think the Sky might out collector the Pontiac Solstice; I’m a GTO guy, but prefer the design of the Sky. Sad to see it gone. Never let yours go, Mr. Brodie.
