Here’s a pretty straight forward one for the Question of the Day.
What is your favorite Cadillac?
Give us your take in the comments section. Like my high school history teacher always told me, “There are no wrong answers.”
My Take? 1972 Coupe Deville
The 1954 Convertible Coupe. I grew up in the fifties and remember going to the dealers in September when the new cars would be on display and I would go to the Cadillac dealer in Albany, Ga and just walked around those big beautiful caddies looking at every detail on this coupe. Good Times

Oh, the fins are a must + Convertible, white w/red interior and loaded to the max. 1957 to 1967, they are fine riders and ready to Cruz✌️
A 57 or 58 Eldorado Brougham is a bucket list car that would be near the top of the list if I won a lottery! So many unique and cool features like 2-driver memory seats without using modern electronics!
Yep, that’s exactly my vote also.
2016 CTS/V
2005 STS
Almost any Eldorado. I so wanted a triple white Eldorado Biarritz in 1981, and I finally acquired one in 2020. I presently have two (’80 and ’90) and look forward to seeing how the collection might grow!
I like them all – but my favorite is the 1947 Series 62 Sedanette.
1968 ELDORADO

My first car 1984 Coupe de ville

I currently have an 89 Fleetwood Brougham, with 38,000 miles. But my favorite and I hope to own is a 79 Seville. It has such a stately look.
1962 COUPE DE VILLE
My favorite of the three I owned was a silver 1993 SLS with a grey cloth roof!
That’s a difficult choice…
38-41 60 Special

‘57-‘58 Eldorado Brougham, black, black leather, wire wheels. One of the most beautiful automobiles ever designed and built – timeless, elegant
1949 series 62 Sedanet (Club Coupe).
1970 Coupe Deville and 1980 Eldorado
Time has not been good for the Cadillac Allante but the design and Italian connection will bring people to understand this is a future collectible. Many will say “never” they also said that about the Edsel, Fiero and the slabside Lincoln convertibles.
‘57 Series 62 convertible
That was actually the Brougham, and I agree.
78 Eldorado Biarritz, the last of the BIG ones, of course has to have astro roof
1942 Series-62 fastback coupe. (Bentley would shamelessly steel this design for their Continental)
’58 El Dorado
I have had 18 new Cadillacs over the past 42 years. I would say that I have two favorites. My first , a 1980 Coupe DeVille and my 1988 Allante. Both GREAT cars for different reasons.
Pre war 1932-34 Cadillac convertible and post war 1953 Cadillac Eldorado all time favorite.
“I was Fortunate To Have My Parents 1958 Cadillac Coupe De Ville,
back in 2011 I made the Horrible Mistake to Sell it to a Young fellow who
Worked on the Oil Rigs in the North Sea, the Reason Why I say that is I
Undersold it for only $30,000.
Feel of all the Cadillac’s designed in the 1950’s, The 1957 and 1958
are the Most Attractive Models designed, those two Years especially
the 1958 were both Stylish and the 1958 was the last year we would see
that generous amount of Chrome!
Harley Earl was one of the leading Designers for General Motors, this
was one of the last that he had a hand in designing. Thank God above or
whoever that when my Parent’s was in the Showroom, they choose
the 1958 over in my opinion the Garish New 1959 Models.
