Featured on AutoHunter, the online auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com, is this professionally restored 1957 Ford Thunderbird convertible.
This Thunderbird received a complete frame-off restoration under the direction of Amos and Justin Minter. The Fresh Torch Red paint exterior features a hood scoop, front fender grates, wheel skirts, and tailfins. A color-matched removable hardtop with porthole windows is included with the sale.

“The two-seat interior is fitted with Torch Red vinyl bench upholstery, matched to the lap belts, door panels, dash, carpeting, and Thunderbird-branded floor mats,” AutoHunter notes in the listing. “Options include a four-way Dial-o-Matic power seat, power windows, air conditioning, and a Town and Country push-button radio. The trunk is lined with a plaid vinyl mat and contains a spare tire.”
Under the hood is a rebuilt 312ci Y-block V8 engine paired with a a floor-shifted 3-speed automatic transmission.
It rides on chrome 14-inch wire wheels with whitewall tires. This Ford Thunderbird has power-assisted front disc and rear drum brakes with a dual-circuit master cylinder, and power steering.
The sale includes a clear Texas title in the seller’s name, an owner’s manual, and documentation.
