New Moke honors 007

-

Moke America is releasing a 60 Years of Bond edition. This special edition pays homage to 007’s iconic history, and boasts stylish features like a midnight blue exterior, “Mango Tree” dashboard, sequence dots tire cover, wooden steering wheel, wooden gear shift knob, tan seats and more.

A neighborhood electric vehicle, Moke America is a low-speed vehicle with a top speed of 25 mph that can be charged with a 110-outlet. With an eight-hour charge time, an America Moke has almost forty miles of drive time.

“We are very excited to unveil our second 007 Moke,” said Todd Rome, founder and CEO of Moke America. “Like James Bond, Moke has its origins in the 1960’s and this new edition highlights that iconic history both brands enjoy in modern culture.”

 NICHOLS N1A

The Nichols N1A will begin low-volume production. Developed by former McLaren Chief Designer Steve Nichols, who helmed the technical team that produced the McLaren MtP4/4, the N1A is a modern interpretation of the first McLaren, M1A.

“In the end we thought we might as well build one and see how it turned out,” Steve Nichols said. “Once people saw it on the road, the response was incredible.  It’s a bit like the original M1A that started the whole McLaren story.  Bruce McLaren built it as a one-off for his own personal use.”

The N1A will be powered by an American V8 engine with a choice of outputs from 450 to 650 bhp and the car’s performance will benefit from a target vehicle weight of under 900 kilos (1984 lbs).

Monaco has a new Lamborghini dealership. The new dealership is housed in a 218 square meter space and is one of 179 Lamborghini dealerships in the world.

“Iconic Monaco, with its strong automotive and motorsport connotations, deserves the best of design and customer experience,” said Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman & CEO of Automobili Lamborghini.

During the grand opening event a wide variety of Lamborghinis were on display out of the dealership, including the Countach LPI 800-4, Sián FKP 37,  Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae, and Reventón Roadster.

Ferrari unveiled a one-of-a-kind Roma, produced by the prancing horse’s Tailor Made department. Ferrari Tailor Made is an exclusive program for those consumers that wish to customize each aspect of their Ferrari.

Customers in the Tailor Made program are aided by a team of experts, led by a personal designer that interprets the customer’s requests while maintaining the aesthetic standards of Ferrari.

The custom Roma has traditional Japanese-inspired details, and traditional Japanese indigo dyes inspired the car’s color scheme. The same color palette was used to tie the vehicle’s exterior and interior together.

“The unique crest on the car’s dedication plate on the central armrest and door sills is a custom-made “kamon,” a symbol passed down from generation to generation in Japan,” a Ferrari release stated. “Designed by Kyogen, it represents a wheel from an ox-drawn carriage (popular transportation among aristocrats during the Heian period, 794-1185) combined with the eight pistons of the Roma’s V8 engine forming its spokes. The numeric theme is continued in the eight wave crests that encircle the wheel – symbols of good luck, power and resilience.”
