Question of the Day: Do you prefer El Caminos or Rancheros?

Ford released the Ranchero in 1957 and two-years later the Chevrolet El Camino made its debut. Both vehicles filled the same market as a coupé utility with a standard front passenger compartment and a bed out back. They are long gone, the Ranchero ended production in 1979 and the El Camino followed in 1987, but the General Motors Australian-based subsidiary Holden Ute was put out to pasture in 2017.

So dear readers, do you prefer El Caminos or Rancheros?

  1. My very first car was a 59 Chevy Impala. I saved up the money from my paper route. Everyday the car would go by house, and I told my parents I’m going to own that car someday! I bought it for $450.00.
    I wrecked it several times, gave it to my brother who drove it several years, until he totaled it. I’ve been looking for one but they are hard to find in good condition.
