AutoHunter Spotlight: 1966 Ford Mustang

Single-family owned Mustang

-

Featured on AutoHunter, the online auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com, is a single-family owned 1966 Ford Mustang.

“This Mustang has been with the same family since it was purchased new in 1967 and it was passed through the family and used often as a daily driver into the 1980s,” AutoHunter notes in the listing. “The body was repainted in the original color of Raven Black (code A) by Maaco in the late 1980s or early 1990s.”

The front bucket and rear seats are covered in red vinyl with matching door panels, and a white headliner.

Under the hood is the reportedly original 289ci V8 engine with a blue closed-element air filter housing with a 289ci decal, and cast-iron exhaust manifolds. The engine is paired with a three-speed manual transmission.

It rides on 14-inch steel wheels with 1965 Mustang hubcaps with spinners, and whitewall radial tires.

The sale includes a clear title, records and receipts, including one for the Maaco paint job.

This Ford Mustang’s auction ends on May 11, 2022, at 12:20 p.m. (PDT).
