As we’ve mentioned before, the Dodge Stealth and the Mitsubishi 3000GT are family. They have the same engine and drivetrains but with slightly different exterior appointments. The Pick of the Day is a 1994 Dodge Stealth R/T listed for sale on ClassicCars.com by a private seller in Belvidere, Illinois.
Under the hood of this Stealth R/T is a 3.0-liter V6 engine with a 5-speed manual transmission.
This Stealth R/T is finished in green with a rear spoiler and rides on 17-inch alloy wheels. Visually different than the 3000GT in many respects, although both cars share a similar profile and could easily be misidentified.
The seller notes in the listing, that the interior is outfitted in beige/black leather with a matching dashboard and door panels and “features include power windows and locks, sunroof, a fully functioning gauge package and the A/C blows cold”. The vehicle also comes with a clean CARFAX, the original window sticker and the original owner’s manual.
The asking price is $7,500. To view this Mopar on ClassicCars.com, see Pick of the Day.
I think there was a twin turbo 300+ HP version of these and the 3000 that would be the one(s) to go after.
I’ve driven a Stealth like this one; peppy little sports car but the Mitsubihi one with twin turbo is a killer. A real sleeper, had one a few years ago but had to let it go as parts were scarce and machanics ready to work on it even scarcer.
The Stealth was offered as an RT Twin Turbo, all wheel drive. Very fast for its day.
