DEUS to release 2,200 horsepower electric hyper car

DEUS will produce 99 Vayanne electric hypercars

DEUS Automobile unveiled their electric hypercar at the New York International Auto Show and the estimated specs for the Vayanne are impressive.

2,220 horsepower

1,475 pound-feet of torque

Top speed of more than 248 mph

0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in under 1.99 seconds

While all the figures are estimated, engine design specifics are not currently available, the partnership between DEUS Automobile, Italdesign and Williams Advanced Engineering will lead to a limited run of 99 cars, with the first delivery to customers in 2025.

“We are really satisfied with the results achieved with the Vayanne, in this first phase of our collaboration with DEUS,” said Marco Volpengo, Italdesign head of automotive business development Europe. “Moreover, we are excited to apply and integrate the innovative technologies provided by our partner Williams Advanced Engineering.”

DEUS was established in Vienna, Austria in 2022 to develop luxury hypercars.

“Working as the Electrification and Technology Partner, we look forward to employing our expertise in electrification to support the programme’s performance targets,” said Dyrr Ardash, head of strategic partnerships, Williams Advanced Engineering.

The Vayanne has 4.7 inches of ground clearance, and the front and rear grilles are meant to represent the infinity loop. Inside the Vayanne, the natural leather selected for the upholstery is treated and produced with sustainable and technologically advanced solutions with a commitment towards zero waste for a circular economic model.

DEUS is developing active sound to enhance the driving experience.

“At DEUS, design is not merely about the looks, it is an integrated concept that reflects the marque’s main credo: to effortlessly combine exquisite design and functionality with cutting-edge technology in the EV hypercar segment,” said Adrian-Filip Butuca, head of design at DEUS.
