Stylish, fun to drive and distinct. British automakers have given car lovers many great vehicles. The MGB, Mini Cooper, Jensen Interceptor, and the Lotus Esprit are some fine examples of iconic British cars.

With so many choices, what is your favorite British car?

Let us know in the comments section below what is your favorite British car. Like my high school history always told me, “There are no wrong answers.”

My choice? 1963 Aston Martin DB5, due to my love of 007 movies.

  1. 19y0 Lotus Elite(my first car)1955 Aston-Martin Vantage Drophead(4th car)many more over my 75 years. Now 2003 Mercedes sl500.

  2. Early MGA’s. Very nice driving cars, easy access to parts. With a few mods they go from nice drivers to very good performance cars. Reliability, performance and eye candy.

  3. My favorites were my ice blue 63 XKE when I was in college and my black 95 XJS convertible (27 years ago)
    Still enjoy British vehicles today:
    White Range Rover/White Bentley

  4. my 1867 Austin Healy 3000 was my favorite one, followed by my 1964 E Type. Liked my Triumph Stag but the engine issues certainly took it out of the running of favorite. Driving a 2020 Range Rover Sport which is a joy. My wife likes the Bentley Continental.

  5. The amazing Morgan Aero8 GTR, the Morgan Aero8- any dark color, although I am partial to their deep Navy blue. Pre-war Lagondas and Invictas a close 2/3.

  6. NONE!!!! only Kidding …some of the most Iconic cars are from the UK!….Tooo many to list!…can we talk about aircraft too?
    Everyone have a lovely holiday!
    Be well!

  7. I’ve liked the Jensen Interceptor since seeing one come into the Chrysler dealership that I worked at when I was 17. Still a beautiful car!

  8. Austin Healy MK III tied with Marcos GT. I owned one of the Marcos GT cars, and while it was a pain in the but to maintain, it was fast, got 25 mpg, could not be rolled. Combo lousy car/ wonderful car. The Healy was much more civilized and was a true hoot to drive. Both had ground clearance that kept you out of drive-ins!
